Application Requirements
Students are required to submit the following:
- The online application
- A copy of high school transcript
- A copy of ACT/SAT/PSAT scores (If available)
- Counselor and Teacher recommendation letters emailed to Program Coordinator, Dr. David Wang (y.wang@mst.edu, with “NSTI recommendation letter” in subject line) directly from the recommenders.
- Proof of accident/health insurance, and
- One-page typed essay describing your career objective(s), interest in transportation, and how NSTI can assist you in reaching your goals (double-spaced, times new roman 12-point font, one-inch margins).
We prefer that students submit the following:
- One letter of recommendation from a school counselor.
- One letter of recommendation from a computer science, mathematics, pre-engineering, or science teacher.

Cancellation Policy
Missouri S&T reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registrations, severe weather or natural disaster. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified immediately via email and phone, and all fees will be returned in full.
